Sergey Bubka has dedicated his life to athletics. He is a Vice President of the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF), Executive Board Member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and President of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine.
Working closely with UNESCO as a Champion for Sport and as an Academy Member for the Laureus Sport for Good Foundation, Sergey further dedicates much of his time to promoting the value of sport to young people around the world.
As an athlete, Sergey set a benchmark for excellence in pole vault competition by becoming a multiple World and Olympic Champion as well as setting 35 world records during his career.
