200 days to go to PyeongChang 2018 Winter Olympics Sergey Bubka gave a start to Bike Parade

Today, 200 days to go to PyeongChang 2018 Winter Olympics at the center of Ukrainian capital Kyiv city Sergey Bubka gave start to "Bike Parade of Friendship Ukraine-Korea", which will be held from 24 to 30 July all over Ukraine under the initiative of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea and supported by the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine, the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, Federation of Cycling Ukraine.

"Bike Parade of Friendship Ukraine" devoted to the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Korea and Ukraine and XXIII Olympic Winter Games in PyeongChang 2018.

"It is nice that today we are launching such an important vivid event. Exactly in 200 days the XXIII Olympic Winter Games will start. Olympic movement is a unique phenomenon, which brings together billions of people from different parts of the globe. Sport is a common language that destroys barriers and strengthens respect, unites and cares for good. We must continue to involve young people in sport, in an active way of life, in the education of healthy nations" Sergey Bubka said. The NOC of Ukraine President and IOC Executive Committee Member also  thanked the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Ukraine headed by Mr. Lee Yang-goo expressing confidence that the 2018 Olympic Games will have a great success.

The program of cycling will include not only sport, but also cultural events.
